Don’t mistake this one for a light weight travel scooter. The Sunrunner 4 Wheel Scooter is for heavier duty local driving as well as indoor use. Owners rate this mobility scooter as a 4.5/5. Comments were “nice scooter”, “works great for the price”, and “great little scooter”. One owner has had one for a year and has just bought another one of the same model for his wife. Another says “I have gotten both the Sunrunner 3 and 4. Both have been excellent. If you need a scooter Shoprider is the best I have found. For outdoor use they are the top. Indoor they are also great to use”.

Owners like the stability of the four wheels, and the small area needed to turn around. They also like that, in most cases, the unit was operational in a few minutes with minimal assembly required. The only complaint owners had was a lack of clear instructions on assembly and on charging the battery.

None on the owners who reviewed this scooter mentioned portability. Although the back of the seat folds flat, this unit can’t be disassembled. As well, it is a fairly heavy unit, weighting in at 180 lbs. It would appear that one would need to install a lift in one’s vehicle in order to easily transport this scooter, if one wished to do so.
